Tiger OS X and Apple's Pages

I can not wait until my Tiger OS X upgrade gets to me in the mail.

I have used Windows PC's at both home and work for more years than I care to remember. I recently purchased a Mac Mini to use as a pure video platform - photos, DVD videos, etc. This has worked out amazingly well.

I recently purchased Apple's Pages. Awesome. Putting together a family newsletter is so, so easy now.

My plan is to eventually substitute all my other Windows PC's at home with Apple products as they need to be replaced.

The Wiggles

My toddler likes to watch the Wiggles.

It is agonizing to have to watch this. Four grown men dancing around singing, "Fruit salad, yummy yummy".

It's enough to drive one to the bottom of a Maker's Mark bottle.

A Great Birthday Gift

Golfing yesterday - my buddie gave me a flask for my birthday - engraved and filled with Maker's Mark. What a great gift.

Cigars - Sancho Panza. Nice, smooth and creamy tasting. Give it a try.

Best Summertime Song for Freeway Driving

Open road, windows down. "L.A. Woman" by the Doors playing on the CD player.

Best dang driving song ever.

"Closer" movie stinks

Last weekend I had to endure the movie "Closer". This was easily the worst movie I have seen this year. Not even seeing Natile Portman dressed as a stripper could save this bomb.

A movie that is way too long that is about four people screwing each over figuratively and literaly.

Zero stars.

While Drinking Stomps on the First Amendment

I recently posted some excellent Haikus over at the infamous "While Drinking, I..." blog.

They got deleted!

I guess the first amendment means nothing in the People's Republic of Wisconsin.

I am sad. I can't remember them now to repost here.

Maybe a cold Labatt will help my memory.

On Sit-N-Gos

The cheapest buy in for a SNG at PokerStars is $5.50.

On The Gaming Club it is a $1.00.

Need to figure out which is a better deal if you at least come in third.
