"Anonymous" doubts the accuracy of the Bible

A comment from someone, found at this link
list what he/she thinks are Bible passages that contradict each other.

I will go through each of these in due time and correct the reader and show him/her where they are wrong.

As for Moslem theology, it is like any other false religion, like Catholicism.

Nobody comes to God except through his son Jesus.

Yes, over one billion people can be wrong.

It seems ignorance and hypocrisy still runs rampant in this world.
Yes, I do doubt the accuracy of the Bible. Additionally, I do not believe that it is the Word of God, nor do I believe it is the work of men inspired by God. In fact, I do not believe in a god or any deity. One need only look at Genesis 5:1-32 to see how laughable the Bible is:

1: This is the book of the generations of Adam. When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God.
2: Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man when they were created.
3: When Adam had lived a hundred and thirty years, he became the father of a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.
4: The days of Adam after he became the father of Seth were eight hundred years; and he had other sons and daughters.
5: Thus all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died.
6: When Seth had lived a hundred and five years, he became the father of Enosh.
7: Seth lived after the birth of Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and had other sons and daughters.
8: Thus all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died.
9: When Enosh had lived ninety years, he became the father of Kenan.
10: Enosh lived after the birth of Kenan eight hundred and fifteen years, and had other sons and daughters.
11: Thus all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.
12: When Kenan had lived seventy years, he became the father of Ma-hal'alel.
13: Kenan lived after the birth of Ma-hal'alel eight hundred and forty years, and had other sons and daughters.
14: Thus all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died.
15: When Ma-hal'alel had lived sixty-five years, he became the father of Jared.
16: Ma-hal'alel lived after the birth of Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and had other sons and daughters.
17: Thus all the days of Ma-hal'alel were eight hundred and ninety-five years; and he died.
18: When Jared had lived a hundred and sixty-two years he became the father of Enoch.
19: Jared lived after the birth of Enoch eight hundred years, and had other sons and daughters.
20: Thus all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years; and he died.
21: When Enoch had lived sixty-five years, he became the father of Methu'selah.
22: Enoch walked with God after the birth of Methu'selah three hundred years, and had other sons and daughters.
23: Thus all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.
24: Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.
25: When Methu'selah had lived a hundred and eighty-seven years, he became the father of Lamech.
26: Methu'selah lived after the birth of Lamech seven hundred and eighty-two years, and had other sons and daughters.
27: Thus all the days of Methu'selah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years; and he died.
28: When Lamech had lived a hundred and eighty-two years, he became the father of a son,
29: and called his name Noah, saying, "Out of the ground which the LORD has cursed this one shall bring us relief from our work and from the toil of our hands."
30: Lamech lived after the birth of Noah five hundred and ninety-five years, and had other sons and daughters.
31: Thus all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years; and he died.
32: After Noah was five hundred years old, Noah became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Or perhaps Genesis 7:13-16

13: On the very same day Noah and his sons, Shem and Ham and Japheth, and Noah's wife and the three wives of his sons with them entered the ark,
14: they and every beast according to its kind, and all the cattle according to their kinds, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth according to its kind, and every bird according to its kind, every bird of every sort.
15: They went into the ark with Noah, two and two of all flesh in which there was the breath of life.
16: And they that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him; and the LORD shut him in.

That's two of EVERY beast. So, where are the dinosaurs now?

Whoever believes this drivel is a fool. Whoever preaches this drivel is not only a fool, but a deceiver as well. And who is the bigger fool, the fool or the fool that follows.

Did Jesus even exist? There is no direct proof. Sure, Christians will mention Tacitus, and Pliny, and Josephus, but they don't mention Jesus by name or by deed. They only refer to Christians as an obscure religious sect, portrayed for the most part as annoying troublemakers (Some things never change!). There is no direct evidence for Jesus's existence. Don't even talk about the James Ossuary, which has been proven to be a hoax. And don't even mention the 4 Gospels which, having been written 40 to 150 years after the supposed life of Jesus, are far from eyewitness testimony. They are just stories and legends passed down, tainted by the exaggeration that typically accompanies oral traditions as well as the desire by the founders of early Christianity to draw in converts through amazing tales of miracles. Perhaps Jesus did exist, but he was likely a radical Jewish leader who was trying to create a popular uprising to drive the Romans out of Judea. The Romans dealt with his revolt swiftly by executing its leader. The followers, stunned by the death of Jesus, likely retreated and created Christianity as a means of coping with their leader's death, giving him divine status.

Ask any biblical scholar from a reputable university around the world and that's the view you will get. Don't bother asking someone from Liberty University or Bob Jones University.

By the way, I was a baptised Christian who attended Sunday School until I was 19 years old. I even considered becoming a minister, beginning active preparation. Through my study to be a minister I was taught how to combat arguments against Christianity and theism. What I found was a web of deception and lies. I came to the awareness that what I was taught, and learning how to preach, was a lie.

So now I am an atheist.

Yesterday, my wife was broiling dinner in the oven when the pan juices began to smoke. The smoke drifted into the hallway and set off the smoke alarm. My 7-yr old daughter, sitting in the family room, screamed out of fear and when she realized it was a false alarm, she asked me to take the batteries out of the smoke detector. She covered her ears, yelling "I don't want to hear it!" I replied, "Sweetie, this may save your life someday. And I am not going to shut it off simply because you don't want to hear it."

My only advice to you, and other Christians, is to do your homework. Educate yourself. Read not only the Bible, but read arguments both for and against Christianity. Embrace critical thinking, which is a skill that is seldom taught or practiced in American society today. Don't shut out the message because it is not what you want to hear!
1) In the book of Genesis people lived a long time. That's the way it was before the "big flood".

2) Whoever said there were dinosaurs? Prove that! They find an old tooth and a bone?
Complete skeletons have been found of dinosaurs. Just pay a visit to Dinosaur National Monument. There is your proof. Ironically, we have more proof for the existence of dinosaurs than we do for Noah, Moses or Jesus.

I don't consider the bible to be proof of anything. It is not a collection of objective observations. It is legend and folklore, combined with bits of history from secondhand accounts, subjectively molded to fit the motives of a group of people with a religious agenda. The bible itself is worth much in the sense that it provides a glimpse into the cultural, political and social motivation of the hierarchy of the societies and subcultures of that age.
What it means is that dinosaurs all died out BEFORE the "big flood".
There was no big flood. Sorry.
